How to make a felt fried egg

I currently do a fabric food project with my year eight textiles class and one of their favourite things to make are fried eggs. So here is a simple tutorial for how to make a fried egg out of every ones favourite craft fabric felt.

You will need:
Two pieces of white felt cut into a blobby egg shape
one piece of yellow felt cut into a circle
a needle
Some yellow and white embroidery floss I used DMC blanc and 3822

 Pin on the yellow circle to one piece of the white felt and stitch around it with a running stitch.

 Then pin the remaining piece of white felt to the back.
