New baby cross stitch teddy – free pattern

I just wanted to share the nursery cross stitch I made for my new nephew. As you can see his initials were A, B, C which just lends itself perfectly to a nursery sampler. I wanted to rework my ted cross stitch pattern which there is a link to here.

In blues as I was sewing for a baby boy. So I chose a bright traffic light scheme of red, orange and green to balance out the design. I enhanced the first initials in bold to make the A, B, C stand out and finished it off in a plain white frame as to not detract from the design. His mum was delighted with it and could appreciate the work as she is a fellow stitcher. I do love making handmade gifts for people and its so nice when it is something I have designed as well as made.
