Gluten free chocolate crackles recipe

These are great simple biscuits that go great with a cup of coffee. If you want a more chocolaty hit sandwich two together with Nutella.


Gluten free chocolate crackles recipe
Ingredients
  • 225 g Gluten free Self Raising Flour ( I use Doves)
  • 100 g caster sugar
  • 3 x 15 ml spoon cocoa powder, sieved
  • 100 g      margarine
  • 5 x 15 ml spoon milk


Method
  1. Heat oven to 190ºC, 375ºF, Gas Mark 5. Grease two baking trays.
  2. Mix flour, sugar and cocoa in a bowl and rub in the margarine.
  3. Add the milk and essence and mix in well. Bring together with your hands and knead lightly on a floured surface.
  4. Spoon onto the baking trays.
  5. Bake for about 8-10 minutes. Remove from baking tray and cool on a wire rack.
