1. Longer days.
My hubby works long hours and often gets home in the dark. As soon as Spring arrives and the clocks change the boys are happy because they know there will be time to play outside with their dad. He loves it too, spending time with them is precious to him and of course he gets to show off his football skills.
Our garden is lovely in whatever season, but I especially love it when the colour returns to it in Spring. Suddenly the garden is full of red tulips, yellow daffodils and pink apple blossom.
3. Fresher veg
As much as I love all the warmth and comfort from winter vegetables. By April I am looking forward to long lazy salad meals.
I know not everyone is a fan, but I love Easter. It's like a more relaxed version of Christmas, less shopping, still get a great lunch, plus there's chocolate. What's not to love?
5. My legs get set free.
As the days warm up, I am itching to ditch the opaque tights and knee high boots. Fishing out my sandals from storage and painting my toenails. I often do this far too early and have cold feet, but once I'm in sandals I don't do back to socks till October!
What do you love about the spring?
