Zoobooks review and giveaway

Post in collaboration with Zoobooks.

I don't know about your children, but mine are fascinated by natural history. My youngest loves all the soft and small animals. Anything that would be described as cute and he loves it. My eldest loves anything he can learn the facts and figures about. So how much did a t-rex weigh, how long was a diplodocus and he can tell you.

So they were both delighted when a package came from Zoo books asking us to review their magazines for kids.
There are four different magazines aimed at different age ranges. My youngest got;
Zoobies (ages 0-3) which was full of animal fun for little ones! It also has been tailored for younger readers, by being written with age appropriate language and sized right to be shared with infants and toddlers. He was just a little too old for this one, but loved the animal photography and illustrations.

Zootles (ages 3-6), just like Zoobooks, but for preschoolers. Full of age-appropriate writing and engaging photos/art. Plus, tons of family activities ideas. He really enjoyed this one and spent an afternoon, looking through it with his brother.
My eldest got to look at;
Zoodinos which is the newest addition to the Zoo books range. Aimed at ages 5+.
'Dinosaurs come to life in the new title from Zoobooks. Simple, interactive text encourages discussion and active learning.'
He was probably a bit old for this one, being eight, so he passed it on to my youngest to read later.

Zoobooks (ages 6-12)
Is full of amazing photos and illustrations. It's won many awards through the years for its kid-friendly writing and art. Each issue focuses on one animal, helping kids explore the animal's habitat, social habit, and more! This was a hit with my eldest, he loved reading up on the information about each animal and the photography and illustrations were great. He also loved that it came with collector cards, as he is always keen on collecting and trading cards.
Great for rainy afternoons or day trips in the car. Get the kids absorbed in the wonderful world of natural history.

  8. Being a homeschooler I would have to go with Zoodinos! My kids love learning about animals (we have had the classic Zoobooks subscription and loved it!), but dinosaurs might get them really excited to learn something more about those amazing creatures!
