|Baked egg custard with mixed berry compote|
1 egg yolk
50g caster sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
pinch of nutmeg
you will also need 4 ramekins
- Preheat oven to 170c gas mark 3.
- Whisk eggs, egg yolk, sugar and vanilla together, then add milk and whisk again.
- Pour the mixture into 4 ramekins.
- Sprinkle with nutmeg
- Bake in a bain marie for 30 minutes, until set in the middle.
Great on their own also good served with berry compote.
