Tutorial Tuesday # 5 – How to make a beaded bobby pin

You will need some thin gauge jewellery wire, some seed beads in a colour of your choice and a bobby pin.
Cut around 30 cm of wire and thread onto it 10 seed beads. Push them to the middle of the wire and secure by twisting to make a loop.

Continue to add ten beads and twisting to secure the loop until you have 5 loops.

Arrange the loops so they are evenly spaced and a good shape

Use the remaining wire ends to secure to the closed end of your bobby pin, wrapping the wire so that no sharp ends are exposed.
