Jammy eyeballs recipe

Who doesn’t love the combination of biscuit and jam? Even better when you can call them jammy eyeballs and be all gross at Halloween! If your kids are anything like mine this will be highly amusing. A great recipe to make with the kids, only a few basic ingredients and a whole lot of fun.


To make jammy eyeballs you will need:
  • 225g Gluten free self raising flour
  • 100g margarine
  • 100g caster sugar
  • 1 egg beaten
  • mix to mix
  • jam
  1. Heat the oven to 200c gas mark 6.
  2. Grease a baking tray.
  3. Rub the margarine into the flour.
  4. Stir in the sugar.
  5. Mix to a stiff dough with the egg and the milk.
  6. Roll into walnut sized balls, place on the tray.
  7. Push your thumb into the centre of each ball.
  8. Fill each hole with a little jam.
  9. Bake for 15 minutes until golden brown.
