Eves pudding recipe

Eve’s Pudding
  • 100 g margarine
  • 100 g caster sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 g  Self Raising
  • 675 g cooking apples, peeled and cored
  • 50 g sugar

  1. Heat oven to 180ºC, 350ºF, Gas Mark 4. Grease an ovenproof
  2. Cream margarine and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in
    eggs, one at a time, adding a little flour with each.
  3. Gently fold in remaining flour.
  4. Thinly slice apples
    and layer in dish with sugar.
  5. Prepare cake mixture and use to cover the apples. Bake for
    about 40 minutes.
