For me the best kind of holidays are beach holidays. I have travelled all over and I love to visit a wide variety of places. But to truly relax it’s got to be a beach. So I’ve run up a quick list of beach holiday essentials so you can relax as much as me this summer.

Pack all your beach holiday essentials in a great Suitcase. £29.99 I don’t know how I ever coped before they had wheels and a pull out handle!

In your in flight bag make sure you have everything to hand in travel wallet as you go through check in. Avoiding stressing out over hard to find tickets etc.

What to pack

In your suitcase don’t forget to pack some fab Swimwear. I picked up these beauties from New Look the other week.

I love a good heel but for beach holidays. I’m all about the flats. I love these two pairs of Sandals Hubby got me for my birthday from Debenhams.

I love dresses for holidays as they are so easy to wear. One item on and your dressed. I love simple cotton dresses in the day. But for the evenings I like something a bit more glamorous as we head to the beach to watch the sun go down and try out the local cocktails. This dress from ELVI ticks all the boxes for me. The beading and the colour work so well with my tan. Plus I know I  can pull it out of my wardrobe for many a great event.

Stick to cotton Underwear to make you feel fresher and be sure to pack more than you need. As no one wants to travel home in sandy pants.

Make sure your ready to cope with the sun and stay protected with Sunglasses and a floppy sun hat

I love channelling Bianca Jagger on Holiday.

If you hair can’t stand drying naturally on holiday and you must have a Hairdryer, opt for a smaller travel option.

I can’t go anywhere without my dslr Camera even if it is on the beach. Just make sure you have a good case for it so it won’t get damaged by the sand.

The nightmare when you forget your Travel adaptor and can’t charge your phone or your toothbrush!

This is the newest addition for our holiday this year. Portable speakers to have music poolside or on the beach.

Really important no matter if your going to the beach or not. If your staying in accommodation you don’t know. Pack a CO alarm and make sure you and your family are safe on holiday. Find out more at projectshout.com

Heading to the beach.

You need a great bag. I love this Seaside Tote Bag   £12.99 from find me a gift.

Then make sure you’ve pack a towel to stake your claim to the lounger or favourite place on the sand. I’m sure to find my spot when I come out of the sea with this bright Marimekko Unikko Beach Towel £44.00

My final beach holiday essential has got to be a great Inflatable. The kids and I are looking forward to taking this Pink donut to the beach this year.

What would you have as a beach holiday essential?

  1. I am having inflatable envy! Loving that pink donut inflatable and also the bikini with the rainbow detail. Happy beach days ahead! Thanks for linking up to #coolmumclub with this xoxo

  2. Great list of things to bring with you on a beach holiday. We always forget inflatables and beach games… so I would add a frisbee or blow up beach ball to the list 🙂 Summer… here we come! Thanks for joining us for the #dreamteam Ruth xxx

  3. Sun lotion, and lots of it. I need to find a hat. I’ve tried on so many (just to stop my parting burning), but struggling to find one that isn’t too big and actually looks ok. #coolmumclub
